Mental Health First Aid Course - a huge success
The Mental Health First Aid Course Held at the Three Rivers Hotel on the 14th & 15th September proved to be a huge success with residents from Einsleigh, Mt Surprise, Georgetown and mt Garnett attending as well as local residents.
All participants have concerns of how Mental Health impacts our lives and those of other people.
Learning how to pick up when someone is having difficulties and lending a hand or ear can be the difference between life and death.
In the event that this program come up again, I recommend that anyone with concerns for loved ones attend.....as the knowledge gained really is a most useful tool.
